Our Story
In the rolling hills of Texas, a lifelong equestrian shared a dream: to create a place where people of all ages could discover the transformative power of horses. In 2010, that dream became reality when Rafter A Equine opened on family ancestral land.
What began as a small operation with just four horses and a handful of regular clients has grown into one of the region's most beloved equestrian destinations. Today, our herd of 20+ horses welcomes hundreds of riders each year.
Every trail we ride, every lesson we teach, and every moment we share is guided by our foundational belief: that the bond between human and horse has the power to heal, inspire, and transform.
Every ride is planned and executed with the utmost care for rider and horse safety. All equipment is regularly inspected and maintained.
Our horses are family. We provide top-tier veterinary care, nutrition, and plenty of rest time. Happy horses make for wonderful rides.
We care deeply about the land we ride on. Our trails are maintained to minimize environmental impact and preserve natural habitats.
